We are developing a new strategy which will re-establish our brand, improve our membership offer and set SUSE on a course to become the centre of excellence for supported employment in Scotland.
To help us move forward we are seeking new Board Members who share our vision of equality and diversity in Scotland's workplaces and a commitment to best practice and partnership working.
The SUSE board has vacancies for new Trustees who have the skills we need to achieve our strategic objectives and those who are currently involved in the delivery of supported employment.
We are particularly keen to encourage applications from candidates with skills and expertise in the following areas:
We would also welcome applications from supported employment practitioners in the north east of Scotland, the south west and the Highlands & Islands.
Board member responsibilities include attendance at 6 scheduled meetings per year, our AGM and annual conference, financial and fiduciary governance of a Scottish charity and providing challenge and support in order that our CEO can deliver SUSE's strategy successfully.
Please note - A person will not be eligible for election or appointment to the Board if she/he is disqualified from being a charity trustee under the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005.
